Agreement
By accessing or using Survey.is, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you use Survey.is for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.
Survey.is may provide public survey pages that respondents can open without creating an account. Respondents must use those pages only for their intended survey-response purpose.
Accounts and Workspaces
- You are responsible for maintaining access to your authentication provider account and for activity performed through your Survey.is session.
- Workspaces contain projects, surveys, questions, responses, invitations, templates, billing state, and members. Workspace owners and admins control access for their workspace.
- Workspace roles may include owner, admin, member, and viewer. Role permissions may change as the product evolves.
- Subscriptions are workspace-scoped. Upgrading one workspace does not upgrade every workspace a user can access.
- Survey.is may suspend or restrict accounts, users, or workspaces to protect the service, comply with law, enforce these terms, or prevent abuse.
Customer Content and Survey Data
You retain ownership of the survey content, invitations, recipient lists, metadata, and responses you submit to Survey.is. You grant Survey.is permission to host, process, display, transmit, back up, and otherwise use that content as needed to provide and improve the service.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to collect, upload, import, email, or process any personal information, survey answers, recipient information, or metadata through Survey.is.
Do not use Survey.is to collect highly sensitive information unless Survey.is has explicitly agreed in writing to support that use case. This includes protected health information, payment card data, government identifiers, passwords, or other regulated sensitive data.
Acceptable Use
- Do not use Survey.is for unlawful, deceptive, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, or harmful activity.
- Do not send spam, unsolicited bulk email, phishing messages, malware, or content that impersonates another person or organization.
- Do not attempt to bypass plan limits, rate limits, authentication, workspace authorization, or API trigger protections.
- Do not probe, scan, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
- Do not upload or submit content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
Plans, Billing, and Cancellation
Paid plans are billed per workspace through Stripe. Stripe Checkout starts the first paid subscription for a workspace, and Stripe Billing Portal handles plan changes, cancellations, payment methods, and invoices when billing is connected.
Plan limits and features may include active surveys, monthly responses, email invitations, report exports, API triggers, survey image uploads, and owned workspace limits. Survey.is may update plan packaging, prices, limits, or features prospectively.
Unless otherwise stated during checkout, paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Access to paid features may continue through the end of the current billing period after cancellation, depending on Stripe subscription state and Survey.is plan configuration.
Availability, Changes, and Support
Survey.is is provided as an evolving service. Features may be added, changed, limited, deprecated, or removed. Survey.is may perform maintenance or experience downtime.
Support is provided through the support channels made available by Survey.is or QR Wild LLC. Response times and support scope may vary by plan.
Disclaimers and Liability
Survey.is is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Survey.is disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Survey.is and QR Wild LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations, so some of these terms may not apply to you.
Changes to These Terms
Survey.is may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date. Continued use of Survey.is after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
